Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Kinnod has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain what is forbidden, how to report it and what we do with reports.
What is forbidden
- Creating, sharing, requesting or storing child sexual abuse material of any kind.
- Grooming, sexualising or sexually exploiting children, including sextortion.
- Using Kinnod to contact children for any of these purposes.
Kinnod is for people aged 16 and over.
How to report
Write to [email protected]. Include the username of the account and, if you can, what was sent and when. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What we do
- We review every report within 24 hours.
- We block accounts involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation and delete them.
- We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to Dyżurnet.pl, the Polish hotline run by NASK, and we cooperate with law enforcement as the law requires.
What we can and can’t see
Messages in Kinnod are encrypted end to end, so we can’t read or scan them. We act on what people report to us, including messages and screenshots they choose to share with us. See our privacy policy for what our server keeps.
