Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
1. Who provides Kinnod
Kinnod is provided by SztosCode Rafał Kucharski, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland (“we”). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the Kinnod app and to this website, including the waitlist. The app isn’t available yet; these terms will be updated before it is. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
3. Who can use Kinnod
You must be at least 16 years old to use Kinnod.
4. Your account
- You sign up with a username and a password. Other people can find you by your username.
- We don’t know your password and can’t reset it. If you lose it, you lose access to the account and to the contacts in it.
- Your messages and keys live on your phone. Keep the phone and your password safe.
5. What you may not do
We have zero tolerance for abuse. You may not use Kinnod to:
- share child sexual abuse material or sexually exploit, groom or endanger children in any way (see our child safety standards);
- threaten, harass, stalk or intimidate anyone;
- promote terrorism or violent extremism, or incite violence;
- share other content or carry out activities that are illegal;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
- impersonate another person;
- break, overload or work around the security of the service, or access other people’s accounts.
6. How we enforce these rules
Messages are encrypted end to end, so we can’t see what they say. We act on reports. Write to [email protected] and include the username and, if you can, what was sent. We review reports within 24 hours and may block or delete accounts that break these terms. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities as described in our child safety standards.
7. The service
- Kinnod is free. If we ever add a paid plan, it will be optional and described before you can buy it.
- Kinnod connects through the Tor network, which we don’t run. Connections can be slow or briefly unavailable, and we can’t promise the service will always be available.
- We may change or end the service. We’ll tell you in advance when a change affects you.
8. Liability
We’re responsible for the service as required by law. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
9. Complaints
If something doesn’t work as it should, write to [email protected] and describe the problem. We reply within 14 days.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts that the law allows you to use.
11. Changes to these terms
We’ll publish changes on this page with a new date. If a change matters for you, we’ll also tell you in the app before it takes effect.
